For my Gold Award, I am working with the Tri-City animal shelter located in Fremont, CA. Currently, the shelter staff have noticed animals are spending more and more nights in the shelter than in previous years. The goal of my project is to reduce this statistic and help these animals get adopted faster.

My plan is to produce a bright and welcoming way to spread information about both care for and about the animals themselves.

I am going to construct a main information board stocked with flyers and brochures containing necessary advice for the full benefit of pet owners and their animals.

The second panel illustrates a kennel board. These boards will present ready-to-adopt animals in a personalized and pleasing way which will hopefully increase their chances for adoption.

The third panel illustrates a bench that will be placed in the main lobby of the shelter.
